The 2" long fruit have an unforgettable tropical sweet flavor reminiscent of pineapple. Pick when the pink blush starts to appear over the yellow background. They do tend to crack eaisily, but the taste was wonderful and well worth dealing with the split flesh.

Has the flavor to which all other tomatoes are compared. This is the Amish heirloom that started all the excitement. An indeterminate, potato-leafed variety with a sweet, rich, slightly spicy flavor. The fruits are large, lobed, and slightly irregular.  Many fruits are one to two pounds and make GREAT sandwiches!

Yellow Brandywine is my favorite yellow tomato because of its taste and size. Most yellows are sweet and mild. This one is full of "real tomato flavor", and the Platfoot strain is reported to have greater productivity and a smoother shape than the regular Yellow Brandywine.

My plant produced an abundance of 2-3 inch very firm, meaty fruits. The plants are compact, patio-type that need little or no support. Good salad tomato because they are meaty with little juice.

Not finding regular Ace seeds, I tried this one from Victory Seeds, described as semi-determinate, improved version of Ace that is a bit earlier with thicker walls. Oblate-shaped, smooth skinned fruits ripen uniformily, are meaty and sweet.  Picture from Reimer Seeds.

Added by reqest, Carolina Gold is listed as a determinate plant but vigorous enough that supporting with cage or stakes is recommended.  Said to be very flavorable, low acid, even golden yellow inside and out.  Picture from Totally Tomatoes.  More info.

Crnkovic Gold came to me as a free gift from Heritage Seed Market.  I can find references to a Crnkovic Yugoslavian​ tomato but it is described as bearing pink not yellow fruit.  I know it is an indeterminate, mid season plant.  It looks great in their picture!
